• Clients with an above-average BMI (body mass index) over 30, or clients with a BMI over 27 who have one or more of the following metabolic conditions: diabetes, pre-diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, cardiovascular disease, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, obstructive sleep apnea or PCOS. In rare cases, a BMI >25 may be considered with special circumstances.

Clinical trial data suggests that less than 5% of patients discontinue GLP-1 medications because of side effects. In rare cases, clients could experience acid reflux, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, fatigue, or constipation. Nausea usually lessens as you continue to use the medication. There are many strategies to reduce side effects and this is rarely a concern. Your doctor is here to support you with any concerns.

Our medical providers prescribe GLP-1 medications because they are the most effective fat loss drugs invented. While there is research for oral medications that can rival these injectables, they may be years away.
